Overview

SplitSMS is built for WordPress store owners and agencies. The official plugin talks only to splitsms.com — no third-party SMS gateways. You control every event with simple toggles and message templates.

How it works with SplitSMS

  • Your WordPress site calls the SplitSMS REST API using a secure API key from your dashboard.
  • SMS credits are deducted from your SplitSMS wallet when messages are sent (sandbox keys test without charges).
  • Delivery status and plugin events sync to your SplitSMS dashboard under WordPress integrations.
  • Plugin updates are delivered automatically from splitsms.com — no manual zip uploads after the first install.

Setup guide

    Create a SplitSMS account

    Sign up at splitsms.com and generate an API key under App connections with sms.send permission.

    Download & install the plugin

    Get splitsms.zip from this site, upload via Plugins → Add New, and activate.

  3. 3

    Connect your API key

    Open SplitSMS → Settings in wp-admin, paste your key, set Sender ID and admin phone, then send a test SMS.

    Enable integrations

    Turn on WooCommerce, Contact Form 7, WPForms, or Crocoblock under the plugin menus.
